Approach

My PM Framework: Zero โ†’ Prod

A six-step method I use across product, growth, platform, fintech and AI work, from the first problem statement to measured impact. Each step ships a concrete artifact.

  1. 1Clarify the opportunity
  2. 2Define users & stakeholders
  3. 3Validate the problem
  4. 4Architect the solution
  5. 5Prioritize & roadmap
  6. 6Execute & measure
  7. โœ“Prod
  1. Step 1

    Clarify the opportunity

Define what you are solving and why it matters now: the core problem, who is affected, the urgency, and the constraints (budget, timeline, regulations).

Output: One clear problem statement + 1 primary success metric + key constraints.

  2. Step 2

    Define users & stakeholders

Map direct users, business stakeholders, technical owners and dependent teams. Note the KPI each group cares about, so conflicts come up before execution.

Output: Stakeholder map + success metrics per group.

  3. Step 3

    Validate the problem

Back assumptions with evidence: user interviews, analytics, support tickets, error logs, and market signals. Quantify what we're losing by not solving this today.

Output: 2โ€“3 prioritized pain points + supporting data.

  4. Step 4

    Architect the solution

Design in layers: Core/MVP, Scaled, Ecosystem/Integration, Technical, and Operations/Governance. Solve 80% of the problem with 20% of the effort first.

Output: Multi-layered architecture + ownership + technical risks.

  5. Step 5

    Prioritize & roadmap

Sequence into Phase 1 (MVP), Phase 2 (Expand), Phase 3+ (Scale/Ops). Learn fastest by experimenting first; respect legal, team-capacity, and business deadlines.

Output: Phased roadmap with dependencies, owners, and go/no-go criteria.

  6. Step 6

    Execute & measure

Ship, then track primary, secondary, and guardrail metrics against baseline. Connect outcomes to business impact and run the learn โ†’ hypothesis โ†’ action loop.

Output: Live product + validated metrics + learning agenda for next phase.
